Dr. Colette S. Catalino is a native Californian who was raised in southern Connecticut and western Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of California Davis, attended the University of Bologna School of Medicine with her husband and graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine with academic honors in 1998; and is a member of the prestigious Pierre Fouchard Academy for Excellence in Dentistry. She served as the Dental Director for the School of Hygiene at Mount Ida in Newton where she enjoyed teaching and building their dental clinic and hygiene program. She then moved to California with her husband and children to work for the Public Health Service/Indian Health Service in Humboldt County for a few years before settling in the Laguna Beach California area and opening her own office. She built and practiced dentistry in southern California for twelve years before selling her practice and relocating back to the Boston area. During her time in private practice, Dr. Catalino joined the Naval Dental Reserve Core where she served as a dentist at Camp Pendleton and Naval Air Station Coronado in San Diego for the military and their families.
Currently, Dr. Catalino is a Dental Faculty Member at Tufts Dental School and splits her time between her love of teaching at Tufts Dental School and her love of working with a fantastically skilled and fun crew at Modern Dentistry. She resides in the local area with her family of six children and enjoys people, family and the great outdoors and running.
