Dr. Katerina Kostagianni received her Dental Degree from the University in Athens, Greece in 2009. After receiving her DDS, she attended a three-year dental residency program specializing in Advanced Prosthodontics and Restorative Science at the University of Alabama and the VA Hospital at Birmingham, Alabama. Her concurrent active involvement in research also earned her a Master’s of Science Degree in Dentistry.
After completion of her specialty training, she became an Implant Periodontal Prosthodontics Fellow at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry where she further enhanced her surgical skills in Implant Dentistry and complex implant restorative procedures.
She also received her DMD, from Tufts School of Dental Medicine where she currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Post-Graduate Esthetics Clinic. Her work and research projects and have been presented at several national dental meetings.
Dr. Kostagianni is a passionate clinician with a strong academic and clinical background committed to a personalized and detail oriented treatment for her patients. Her goal is to provide comprehensive treatment with a strong dental foundation, as well as emphasizing in facially generated esthetics and smile design. She is currently a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association.
