A native of Massachusetts and graduate of Allentown, Pennsylvania’s Muhlenberg College, Todd Pizzi, DDS, continued his education at The State University of New York at Buffalo. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from SUNY in 1999 and continued his journey in dentistry as a Lieutenant in the United States Public Health Service, serving as a Reserve Dental Officer with a special focus on providing dental services to the Southwest United States’ Native American population.
With a deep love and commitment to his home state, Dr. Pizzi returned to Massachusetts where he worked for a variety of dental practices before establishing his own Shrewsbury practice in 2001. In addition, Dr. Pizzi was also a lieutenant with the United States Public Health Service, working with Native American populations throughout the Southwest. Dr. Pizzi has also started working with the Open Wide Foundation, an organization that strives to provide dental care for impoverished communities around the world. Dr. Pizzi also volunteers in other countries. He recently returned from Peronia, Guatemala, where he had the chance to help families who live in poverty and have little access to dental care.
When not at his practice, Dr. Pizzi challenges himself as an endurance athlete, participating in marathons and Ironman triathlons. While he enjoys his marathons, Dr. Pizzi values his precious moments with his lovely wife and daughters above all else.
