Want to spend some time this holiday season crafting up some holiday decorations or personalized gifts for the folks on your shopping list? Well Spring Street School’s PTO will be providing a perfect opportunity, through their Winter Craft Night, being held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015. You don’t have to be a seasoned crafter to enjoy the event, as there will be thorough instructions given for a variety of artistic projects, from soft blanket pillows and scarves, to painted dishware, decorated coffee cozies, handmade ornaments and many more holiday-themed projects.
Ways to Get Involved
If you would like to participate in this event, or learn more about how to volunteer with the PTO, visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SpringStreetElementarySchool or call (508) 841-8700.
The PTO will be hosting several events throughout the school year. To learn more about its mission and how you can get involved, you can attend one of their monthly meetings. The next meetings will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the school’s media center, on November 17, 2015 and then again on January 19, 2016. Pizza and babysitters are provided during the meetings so you won’t have to worry about your young children getting restless during the meeting.
