If you have a slew of electronics collecting dust in your closet, attic or garage, it’s time to load them up and take back your space, all while helping to save the planet! Trinitarian Congregational Church will be hosting an electronic recycle day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 5, 2015. The church is located at 53 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778. Guests can recycle everything form computer monitors and stereo or office equipment, to appliances like refrigerators and air conditioners. The fees will range from $5 to $30, depending on what you bring.
Help the Planet and Others
Remember, most electronics and appliances are not safe to simply throw away. Recycle them instead, freeing up valuable storage space and keeping them out of landfills! Planners have asked that you remove excess gas from any appliances like grills or lawn mowers for everyone’s safety.
The community event will also serve as a bike drive, so please bring any unwanted bikes for donation. Old or new, great condition or needing repair, the bikes will be refurbished, if at all possible, and used to help families in need.
If you’re in need of bike pick up, you can call 508.277.6728 or email [email protected].
