Enjoy A Free Guided Nature Tour September 17

On Sunday, September 17, you and your family can enjoy a guided tour of Lake Street Park. The scheduled walk, called Bees, Butterflies, And Their Favorite Wildlife Flowers, will provide education about the natural world contained in Shrewsbury. In addition to exploring a scenic area, you can learn from local naturalist Martha Gach how the area is sustained by local pollinators. This activity is free for those interested to take part in. Parents and children alike can learn more about the natural beauty found in Shrewsbury, while also learning what goes into sustaining that beauty.


The guided walk will take place on Sunday, September 17. The walk will begin at 1 pm, and is expected to conclude at 2 pm.


The Bees, Butterflies, And Their Favorite Wildlife Flowers guided walk will take place at Lake Street Park, located at 430 Lake Street, Shrewsbury, MA. Interested parties will meet in the Lake Street Park parking lot.


The tour is free to join.
